Scanxiety is the anxiety experienced while waiting to undergo a medical scan or receive the results of one. 
“扫描焦虑症”指的是等待进行医学扫描或接收检查报告时感到的焦虑。

Whether scans are being done for diagnosis, to monitor treatment, to check for a recurrence, or simply for follow-up, it doesn't matter. It's scary to wait! 
不管医学扫描是为了诊断病情、监测治疗、检测复发、还是仅仅为了随访，等待的过程就是让人害怕。

It negatively affects patients' quality of life, may undermine follow-up care plans, and can even lead to unnecessary treatment. 
“扫描焦虑症”会影响病人的生活质量，也可能会影响随访护理计划，甚至导致不必要的治疗。
